Still Breating

After escaping WICKED, Lia only had one goal:

survive.

Alone, exhausted, and haunted by the people she left behind, she flees the collapsing city with nothing but a backpack, a stolen serum, and the promise she made to never let someone die in her arms again.

Then she finds a boy bleeding on the pavement outside the WICKED compound.

Infected with the Flare.

Barely breathing.

Saving him should've been impossible.

But leaving him behind was worse.

As the world outside falls apart, Lia and Newt are forced into a desperate journey toward the Safe Haven while the Flare slowly destroys him from the inside out.

And with time running out, Lia begins to realize that surviving the end of the world might be easier than surviving the people you start to care about.
