After being left behind with nothing but the clothes on her back, nineteen-year-old Summer ends up in Klaus Mikaelson's path during one of the many storms rolling through New Orleans. With Elijah trying to be reasonable, Rebekah immediately becoming the cool aunt, and Kol finding the entire situation oddly emotional despite pretending otherwise, the Mikaelsons slowly realise Summer has never truly been cared for in her life.
But Klaus Mikaelson has always loved fiercely. Obsessively. Permanently.
