"Do I get under your skin?" he asked, like he already knew the answer, dragging his feet across the tiles. His eyes stayed locked on mine with an intensity that sent my heartbeat stumbling. "Yes..." My voice came out barely above a whisper as I kept backing away, gripping the towel tight against my chest. Another step and the backs of my legs hit the bed. My breath caught as my knees buckled, forcing me down onto the mattress. He watched me carefully, his expression unreadable now, darker somehow. His gaze drifted over me slowly, lingering at my collarbone before dropping to the soft curves of my breasts. Heat crawled beneath my skin when his eyes lifted back to mine. "But you let me stay there." His voice softened, almost teasing. "You never tell me to leave. Why?" He stepped closer, leaning in. He caged me between his arms, hovering over me. A few loose drops of water still tracing down his chest. The towel hanging low on his hips only made my pulse worse."Tell me to stop," he murmured. "And I will."
