Brace For It - Hollandov Daughter

Violetta (Lettie) Belova has known nothing but pain and suffering in her six years of life. Given up at birth, she has been in a Russian Orphanage and foster homes for as long as she can remember. In the orphanage, she is neglected and abused. She takes pride in school and she competes at top level in swim competitions, thinking her performance will make someone care for her.
Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov have been married for two years, and they have decided they want to expand their family. Ilya, knowing so much about the issues in Russia, wanted to adopt from his home country. Initially wanting a son, the two read Lettie's file and decided to adopt her because of her sport background. But parenthood is not what they expect, and raising a child who grew up in the system proves to be much more challenging than they believed.
