"642 Things to Write About" is a book written collectively by the San Francisco Writers' Grotto; a grotto of which I am unfortunately not a part of. However, upon purchasing the book, I've decided to improve my craft by completing one page a day until I make it through the whole thing. I will allot my self some days off, but for the most part I wanna see this to the end. "642 Responses to Things" are all short stories in response to the prompts found in the book and run the gamut from action, sci-fi, horror, mystery, comedy etc... It's something to keep my mind sharp and hopefully something to keep you entertained. Enjoy these 642 things, and may they inspire you to write your own things no matter the quantity of things you wish to write.

Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
