The Earth is at peace. There is no hunger, no violence, the environment is healed, and the people show nothing other than honesty, courtesy, and kindness. Our world is at peace.. but it is no longer our world.
We have been invaded by an alien race- Souls. Their objective is to live in harmony with the planets they colonize. Our species, however, is less.. negotiable than the others. So they take almost all of the bodies of the human race and occupy them by force. The few humans who survived are on the run.
When Nyx takes the body of a human girl, she later finds out that she is sharing it with it's former owner, Erin McGill. After unfolding her painful yet mesmerizing memories, Nyx's perspective starts to change. Driven only by the determination her body once had, she sets out to find Erin's loved ones. Little does she know, her journey will result in newfound, foreign feelings, and experiences she never even knew was imaginable. Will this broken soul finally find her place? Or will she be lost forever?

Her friend drags her to a club. To get her friend off her back, she finds a girl to pick up. She expected for it to be a one night stand and that was it but she desperately wants to see the woman again. And she ends up getting her wish but the next time they see each other it's in one of the most unexpected of situations. Just when she was starting to think that she might be able to be happy again, it all goes to crap. Her life seems to be a never ending string of heart break. Maybe the whole universe really is against her. Warning: This story's going to get a bit dark/depressing. And even though it's clearly labeled as such but I still feel I need to say this is a mature girlxgirl story so there will be sex.
