In the industrial London of the 1920s, where factory smoke blankets the sky and the poor struggle just to survive, Billy Winstom lives a life marked by hunger, cold, and inequality. The son of Black laborers hiding in the city's forgotten suburbs, all he wants is to protect his family.

But something stirs within him.

After a strange night shrouded in dreams of a formless void, Billy begins to hear impossible echoes, feel instincts that do not belong to an ordinary human, and see shadows watching his every move. As buried secrets about his family begin to surface, Billy discovers that his existence is linked to ancient lineages, forbidden powers, and an unknown force called the Ego of the Void.

In a world dominated by aristocratic families, corruption, human trafficking, and entities watching humanity from the shadows, Billy will have to decide if he can still remain human... or if he has already become something far worse.
