Set between Seasons 20 and 22 of NCIS, NCIS: Aftershocks follows the MCRT team as a deadly conspiracy known only as "The Birdcage" begins targeting former agents and their families across the country. What first appears to be the work of one dangerous man - Jason Hearn, "The Raven" - quickly unravels into something far larger, more personal, and far more devastating than anyone anticipated.

When threats reach Alaska and place Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Jacqueline Sloane-Gibbs, and their young daughters in danger, rogue former agent Eleanor Bishop resurfaces, forcing old allies to reunite and confront the lingering consequences of past operations they believed were long buried.

As the investigation stretches from Washington D.C. to Hawaii and Los Angeles, the team discovers that The Birdcage does not simply hunt its victims - it studies them, manipulates them, and weaponizes the emotional fractures they leave behind.
