For twelve years, Kuro lived a quiet, peaceful life in a small village on the borderlands, far away from the troubles of the Kingdom of Solas. He lived happily with his beloved mother Alina and his little sister Lira, safe and content, unaware of the cruel truths hidden behind the kingdom's shining reputation.

But their peace was shattered overnight. The King and his nobles discovered that Alina possessed a rare and powerful ancient magic bloodline - something they desperately wanted to seize and control for themselves. They sent their Royal Knights, the very men sworn to protect the people, to raid their home.

In front of Kuro's eyes, the knights destroyed everything he loved. They killed the one who protected them without mercy, dragged his mother Alina away in heavy chains, and took his little sister Lira with them, separating the family forever. Kuro himself was left behind, wounded and left for dead, while the knights returned to the kingdom victorious, treating their cruel act as nothing more than a simple mission.

Now, everything he knew was gone. His home was destroyed. His family was taken by the very kingdom that claimed to stand for justice and light. Left alone with nothing but pain, hatred, and the memory of that terrible day, Kuro swore an oath to himself: he would grow strong enough to take back what was stolen, and make every single one of them pay for destroying his peaceful life.
