Adela had spent her whole life trapped within the gilded walls of Marie Geoise. Born into the Celestial Dragon bloodline, freedom was never meant for her. Only duty, status and the suffocating weight of her family's name. But hidden away in the safety of her room, she clung to one impossible dream. That at least for one whole day she is would be able to see the world beyond the Holy Land with her own two eyes.
As luck would have it, Adela seized her only chance to escape during the chaos of the upcoming Reverie, in order to get a single taste of independence along the roads of the Sabaody Archipelago.
For one fleeting moment, she finally has it. Until she catches the unwanted attention of the man she should have never crossed paths to begin with, Monkey D. Dragon. The Supreme Commander of the Freedom Fighters. The sworn enemy of none other than the World Government and her entire being.
A Celestial Dragon and the world's most wanted criminal were never meant to meet, let alone come to understand one another.
But one chance encounter is enough to unravel everything Adela thought she knew about herself, her family, and the world she belonged to.
Now standing between freedom and destruction, Adela must decide who she truly wants to be before the future is decided for her.
