Adela had spent her whole life trapped within the gilded walls of Marie Geoise. Born into the Celestial Dragon bloodline, freedom was never meant for her. Only duty, status and the suffocating weight of her family's name. But hidden away in the safety of her room, she clung to one impossible dream. As luck would have it, Adela seized her only chance to escape during the chaos of the upcoming Reverie, in order to get a single taste of independence along the roads of the Sabaody Archipelago.

For one fleeting moment, she finally has it. Until she catches the unwanted attention of the man she should have never crossed paths to begin with, Monkey D. Dragon. The Supreme Commander of the Freedom Fighters. The sworn enemy of none other than the World Government and her entire being.

But one chance encounter is enough to unravel everything Adela thought she knew about herself, her family, and the world she belonged to.

Now standing between freedom and destruction, Adela must decide who she truly wants to be before the future is decided for her.
