Seven decades have passed since the death of Avatar Aang, and the world has transformed completely. This is the reality for the Village Hidden in the Leaves, also known as Konohagakure. Founded by Ryunosuke Senju, an ally of Avatar Aang, this shinobi powerhouse helped birth four other Great Ninja Nations: Iwagakure (the Land of Earth), Kumogakure (the Land of Lightning), Kirigakure (the Land of Water), and Sunagakure (the Land of Wind).
Initially, a prosperous, ten-year peace united these five powerful nations. Then, everything descended into chaos. The First Great Shinobi War erupted in a mutual massacre, claiming the lives of thousands of ninja, including the very first Kage. Though a fragile truce eventually concluded the bloodbath, the peace lasted only twenty years before the Second Great Shinobi War began. This second conflict has lasted far longer-raging for forty grueling years with no end in sight.
