Mila Donahoe has always been the little sister who didn't belong. Five years younger than Zoe, Billie Eilish's childhood best friend since their homeschooled days, Mila was the kid constantly getting kicked out of rooms, sleepovers, and secret music sessions. "You're too young, go away," they'd laugh, slamming the door and leaving her in the hallway while Zoe and Billie bonded over everything she wasn't old enough to understand.
Now, in 2026, Zoe is a talented photographer and lifestyle influencer with her own quiet corner of the internet, authentic, low-key, and no longer glued to Billie's side every day.
Mila is twenty-one, fresh out of college, and finally stepping out from under her sister's shadow. When circumstances bring her to stay at Zoe's place in LA for the summer, she braces for the same old treatment, overlooked, irrelevant, invisible to the one person she's secretly watched from afar for years.
But Billie sees her now.
