[EDITED EDITION] Hera could no longer hear the clicking of her heels as she walked towards the Magic Fountain, the fountain that would protect her from possession of a Conjured. The floor here was still stone like in the hallway, yet it was dead quiet. Her shoes just made no noise. She was so close she could make out the individual strands of magic in the water of the Fountain when she heard the scream. It was shrill and blood-curdling, filled with so much fear it made Hera want to scream herself. Which she did, when she looked up. It was a Conjured. Looking directly at her. ~~~~~ Hera Giala loves books. She kind of sees herself as a background character, necessary to the plot but not really anything special. Yet no amount of reading could have prepared her for what was to come. A war has been waging for centuries. The war between Giala and Conjured - evil, decaying, humanlike creatures with burning blue eyes and a hatred for royals. Royals like Hera, princess of Giala. And now, as the new queen, it's Hera's job to kill them, and not loose herself or the bright colours of her world in the battle for peace.

I can see your cup of care is empty, but, seems like it is brimming with arrogance." With that, he walked away while I stood there thinking of a thousand torturous ways to kill him. Fantastic!! She had been scrambling towards a sudden drop! The hands hauled her back, but she still struggled. She didn't want to look at it, and she still wasn't sure she wouldn't rather take her chances with the open air instead. "Stop it, I'm not going to hurt you! You'll hit your head on the rock or something. Wren, please!" It knew her name. Somehow it knew her. She was going to die! "Let me go! Stop touching me!" She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.

When on it's hind legs, the tigers height doubles. Every now and then the tiger descends to lower parts of the mountain. It takes him three days to reach the lower part of the mountain. The group of teens planned to stay there a month. The exact month the fierce tiger descends. The group meets up at the airport with their share of the money for the tickets. That's where the story begins.

There's something I need to do in the woods!" she said as she rode over to the side of the road and dismounted, running into the Royal Pine Forest as Brandon called after her to wait. He quickly dismounted and swiftly lead his horse over to Celine's, taking its reins and tying both horses to a tree before going after her. "Celine! Wait!" he called after her as he realized that he could hear a very low humming noise coming from within the woods. "Maybe she's following the noise," he thought as he began to follow it to find where it was coming from and hopefully locate Celine. He pushed through the underbrush as the sound became louder and then he saw Celine standing in front of a whirling, shimmering vortex which was floating about four feet above the forest floor. There was a myriad of different types of strange looking creatures coming out of it and Brandon stood there in disbelief at what he was seeing.

Her nose started to run, dropping down onto her lips and past, moving to her chin and off, just like the tears. Falling every millisecond now. The wind blew her hair into her face, making it stick to the water. Sniffling her nose every now and again, Seraphina couldn’t stop herself. She opened her mouth to scream, to yell so her pain would leave but her voice disappeared. Nothing came out. She blamed herself for everything, she could have stopped them, done something to help, but no, she stood there, frozen. She clenched her fists. She grabbed what she could and threw it. But she couldn’t settle down, her heart was too hurt and her mind only made things worse." ~CHAPTER 9 ARTHOURS NOTE: PLEASE READ PAST THE FIRST TWO PAGES, THEY SUCK, THE REST ARE SO MUCH BETTER, PROMISE. its just hard to start a book with an intresting start, please read on even if its boring XD appreciate it.

Her sole purpose at this moment was to rid her mind of all the stressful things threatening to break her mentally. She needed her sanity. She couldn't survive in this world without her sanity. Mahkie didn't know how long she was walking for, but she could see the sun going down. It was getting dark. Soon, it would be too dark to find her way back to civilization. "Turn back." The sound of another voice had Mahkie's heart slamming against her chest. Her eyes darted around the woods, for signs of another person, but no one was there. She was met only with the sounds of branches creaking from the whistling wind and insects humming to their own tune. Nothing out of the ordinary. And yet, nothing was what it seemed.
