AUDIO / VIDEO BOOK. By the time Nelson Staff wakes up on a September morning in 1983, Earth's accepted timeline has already begun to unravel. His first indication is an impossible letter left by his missing friend, Duke. It is NASA-embossed, marked Top Secret, and describes lunar missions taking place in 1927 - forty years too early. Nelson digs deeper and is eventually abducted by a clandestine group of Elon-esque tech moguls preparing to abandon their 1980s Earth entirely.
But, Duke is not missing. He is in another world, recruited into an unfathomable first-contact mission to help a self-serving Captain and a weary Almighty correct a catastrophic mistake in Earth's evolution.
The Quit is a dry-humoured sci-fi novel blending the bureaucratic satire of The Office with some retro love of Star Trek.
