Now 20 years later A body is found in the mountains veild near transmission towers by a lineman working in a dig out round pond floating .Detective Malcolm who is the head Detective case .his father was one of officers who conducted the raid but he never Said anything about that night .Malcolm has to deal with the case as he try to find what happened to this mysterious girl while to figure what happened to Olivia that night. While this happening a dark entity " it " .Arrives on the side of the town .Books a motel .It's job is to go to a broken house in the middle of nowhere. Which belong to a farmer who killed his family .what was once a house now broken down .the wood turned pitch black. The novel explore the connection between the the dark entity, Malcom and the mysterious girl.
