Emma is a Little. She knew this before her classification even came close, and so did everyone else, it seemed. Five years ago, she was kidnapped and used in a sex trafficking ring until they were caught, and the warehouse she had lived in for years was set on fire, with her inside.
Cliff is a caregiver without a little. His friends had convinced him to sign up for the emergency placement list for Littles, Littles who had to be removed from previous homes, or without homes to go to. But it had been over a year before he had heard anything. Until 2 am on a random Wednesday.
