in an alternate universe of the show Titans, there is a young 15 year old girl, named Rachel Roth, father's out of the picture, raised only by her mother, Melissa Roth, she is about to go off to university, her only friend is also going to this university, this friend is a Tamaranean Alien named Koriand'r or her human name Kory Anders, Melissa has no idea her daughter is friends with an alien, Rachel isn't really a people person. Rachel has had strange powers since childhood, stronger than the average human, able to sense emotions of others and if she cares about someone she can heal them, she also has access to magic, she controls her abilities with excessive meditation. her mom is afraid of them, Kory isn't.
