Lauren Aniston has one goal: become a sports reporter who actually matters. Not another "feel-good feature" buried beneath fluff pieces while her male coworkers land the stories that define careers. She's done waiting for permission-and she's ready to earn her place as the new sideline reporter for Boston University's football team. There's just one problem: she doesn't have the job yet. Tyler Beckett has everything-star tight end, future NFL draft pick, campus golden boy-except the one thing he's never been able to ignore: Lauren Aniston. His sister's roommate. Completely off-limits. Completely unforgettable. So he keeps his distance, even if it drives him insane. Until Lauren needs access and Tyler is the only way in. What starts as professional convenience quickly turns into something neither of them planned for: stolen moments after practice, blurred lines between interviews and intimacy, and a chemistry they can't quite pretend isn't there. Lauren swears she doesn't date athletes. Tyler swears he can keep it casual. Neither of them are telling the truth. When their secret relationship becomes public, it doesn't just break rules-it becomes the story. Lauren goes from reporter to headline overnight, her credibility questioned, her future on the line. And Tyler's perfect image takes its first real hit just as his NFL dreams come into focus. Now they're forced apart by the very world they were trying to succeed in... but staying away from each other might be the one thing neither of them can do because some stories are too big to ignore, and some relationships were never meant to be off the record.

- F I U F A M I L Y S E R I E S N E X T G E N - book four, can be read as stand alone. It's very clear to see where Ace Bishop gets his hockey skills from, as well as his cockiness and over active ego, which also means he has no trouble running that sharp tongue of his, especially when flirting with the line when it comes to his Coach's daughter, Lucy Reynolds. Thriving off the back and forth the two encounter whenever in the same room, a party blows up all that pent up tension, and keeps Ace running back. ○ ♝ ○ Lucy never really did like Ace, his ego was an ick for starters, but she couldn't help the smile that broke free whenever he gave her his undivided attention, not for him to witness, that would just fuel his fire, which he certainly didn't need, and especially when nothing could ever happen between them. I mean, he's as forbidden to her as she is to him. Right? With a risk to take, secrets to unfold, a love like never before, and a future that could get ruined, the two have no choice but too... ○ ♝ ○ Looks like forbidden love runs in the veins of the Bishop men. ○ ♝ ○ - sports romance - forbidden love - enemies to lovers - coach's daughter - completed; 16/11/24
