Lip's life is a garbage fire after things end with Helene. It's a blurred sequence of empty bottles, fights, and a desperate need to feel anything except like himself. Enter Pasha Milkovich--Mickey's cousin with a mean right hook and a Orthodox cross tucked under his shirt. When a drunken scuffle ends with the mystery Milkovich slamming Lip into the drywall hard enough to crack, something ignites.
