Ellie Graham, Garrett Graham's younger sister and a sophomore on the Briar women's soccer team, has always been firmly in the background of her brother's world, familiar with his friends, his teammates, and especially John Logan. She and Logan have known each other for years, long enough to trade teasing remarks and inside jokes without thinking twice, but never long enough for anything to cross the line.

That changes when Ellie starts running into Logan more often around campus, from chance encounters to situations where they're forced into close proximity. What starts as familiar banter and effortless teasing slowly shifts into something sharper, more attentive, more personal, and harder for both of them to ignore.

Every interaction pulls them a little further into unfamiliar territory, where old familiarity starts to feel like something new.

The only complication is Garrett Graham. Protective, observant, and very much aware of both of their histories, Garrett would not take kindly to the idea of his sister and his teammate crossing lines that were never meant to be crossed.
