Where We anchor

Esmeralda is a fun and smart twenty-year-old college student who is deeply passionate about her field of study. But she can't remember what it is. In fact, she doesn't remember she even goes to college at all. Nor can she remember her own name.
After an incident near campus that no one can explain, Esmeralda suffered from severe memory loss. It was in the hospital room she woke up in that she had to start over, meeting her parents for the first time again. As the days passed, the world moved on while she had to learn who she was through the eyes of strangers - including her parents.
But just like Esmeralda had trouble remembering, Mike couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong, something unsettlingly familiar too. After Mike realizes the accident may not have been so accidental he begins an investigation of his own, driven by a grief he never moved past. It isn't long before these complete strangers form an unlikely investigative duo.
As the two young adults unknowingly put themselves in danger they don't fully understand, they become each other's anchor in her past, his present, and their future.
