Boy of No One

For seventeen years, Jacob Frye lived in a house ruled by violence and religious fanaticism. His father drank and beat him. His mother preached punishment and fear. The nightmare finally ended when she murdered his father and Jacob was taken in by a new family.

His adoptive parents gave him everything he had never known:safety, patience, and love. But years of abuse and relentless bullying left scars that kindness alone couldn't heal.

Then Jacob brought home two Saint Bernards.

The dogs became his protectors, his companions, and the first living creatures he truly trusted. With them by his side, he slowly began to change. He smiled more. Stood taller. The fear that had defined his life started to fade.

But something else was growing in its place. The quiet victim disappears, replaced by someone colder, sharper, and far less forgiving. As those who hurt him begin to pay the price, the town realizes that Jacob isn't just recovering.

The dogs didn't save a broken boy. They woke something dangerous.
