When 18-year-old sports journalism student Defne Kaya lands her first season assignment covering Juventus U-21 players, she expects boredom, cheap coffee, and interviews no one will remember. Her career comes first-always has. Love, footballers, distractions? Not interested.

Then she meets 17-year-old Kenan Yıldız, the quiet new transfer from Bayern's academy.

Their first interview is awkward at best. She's unimpressed, blunt, and far too busy to care about another ambitious teenage footballer trying to make his name in Turin. He, unfortunately for himself, can't stop thinking about the one girl who treated him like he was ordinary.
