Seraphina Valieri grows up sheltered and kind, blindly trusting her brother Dante, who lives a reckless, privileged life with his close circle of equally powerful friends.

Years earlier, Dante and his group are involved in a tragic incident in a poor part of the city. A young girl dies, and the truth is quickly buried by money and influence. Around the same time, Lucien Moretti, a powerless young man, loses his younger sister in a connected tragedy and is left with no justice.

That grief transforms Lucien. He disappears, rebuilds himself in silence, and returns years later as a powerful, wealthy, and strategic figure-Lucien Moretti-now strong enough to enter elite society.

He is welcomed into the same world that once ignored him, including the Valieri family. Seraphina sees him as mysterious and different, while Dante and his friends don't recognize him at all.

At a grand gala, Lucien's return finally brings the past and present together. He comes not for peace, but for revenge, aiming to destroy the empire that protected those responsible for everything he lost.

But as he moves closer to Seraphina and the Valieri world, emotions begin to complicate his mission, making revenge no longer simple.
