William had always been the friendly, quiet, and creative boy, the kind who always followed the rules and was, so to speak, the sort of person one naturally trusts.

His sister, Jane, is much the same, except that she is far more curious and actively pursues whatever she wishes to know.

Eventually, however, Jane went away for quite a long time, and William began to worry. Consequently, he disregarded every warning his mother and brother had ever given him and set off toward the surface.

Leaning against the hull of a ship, he suddenly heard his sister's voice.

Yet, in his attempt to bring her back to him, he was spotted by a boy his own age, and somehow... well, he looked rather handsome.
