Shane Hollander was the #2 overall draft pick. He's taken his team to the finals countless times and won three Stanley Cups. But part of him is missing from the ice; his other half. But in this masculine game, the problem is who that is.
He attempts to come out to his team and it goes exactly how you'd expect it to go.

Flames of Cobalt and Crimson
A Cassian and Azriel pairing. There is unrest in the Illyrian camps, and a troubling silence from the Hewn City. Azriel hasn't been able to get his spies in or out, but they know better than to leave Keir to his own devices. And can they find out what Keir is up to before the tenuous peace of Prythian is once again shattered? BAU vs Linda Barnes
Barnes didn't bother to listen to Emily's explanation and cuts in, "Stop. That's enough. Agent Prentiss, I know you are a chess player. All I am asking is for you to sacrifice a couple of pieces to save the whole board." "I stand by my team and the actions we've taken," Emily stated firmly. "Then, please turn over your gun and your badge, Agent Prentiss." Emily stood up and took out her gun and badge and put it on Barnes' table. "Thank you. You are now suspended from active duty." --CM-- When Linda Barnes tried to mess with the Season 7 team. Established Morcia and Hotchniss. Jeid if you squint. Follows closely to Criminal Minds original but with a huge part of own plot. Focused more on Hotchniss. Disclaimer: I do not own Criminal Minds. Warning: Contains Season 13 spoilers, read at your own risk!Kumpleto
You've Got To Hold On (Heated Rivalry)
"Shane leaned his head back against the couch and took a deep breath, feeling the weight of Ilya resting on him. He was caught between wanting to preserve the little time they had left before Ilya got on a plane that afternoon, and wanting to press further and make sure his boyfriend wasn't slipping out of his fingers. He felt out of reach, physically with Shane but somehow slowly drifting away. Shane closed his eyes, saying a silent prayer, or maybe a wish. Please bring him back. I need him." -or- A look into the ups and downs of the two greatest professional hockey players who fell in love as they navigate their high-profile relationship in secrecy. Told from Shane's perspective as a closer look into his character and neurology, this story ebbs and flows with some of The Long Game canon, touching on a few of the same general plot points but with new, in-depth perspective and creative liberty. *TW: depression, mental health issues, disordered eating briefly mentioned. Smoking, drinking, drug use, language. NO SMUT, but stuff is heavily implied/fade to black*

One-shots between Canada's Shane Hollander and Russia's Ilya Rozanov. Most Impressive Rankings # 1 Ilya # 1 Rachel Reid # 3 Heated Rivalry
Cold Comfort | Shane Hollander x Ilya Rozanov
Shane Hollander has always been easy to read. At Controlled Damage Studios, Montreal's most sought-after tattoo shop, he turns other people's stories into ink. Until Ilya Rozanov walks through the door asking for something permanent. One appointment should have been the end of it. Then they run into each other at the gym, and walking away stops being an option. Tension turns into something they call casual, simple, temporary no expectations. Lines blur. Because some connections leave a mark long before the ink does. And some choices become permanent whether you meant them to or not.

Not Anymore
Ilya Rozanov had battled depression for years. Possibly for even longer than he realised, since long before that was what it was labelled as by his therapist. He had faced better days and worse days with it; that was just part of the cycle. There was one constant in his life though that had always managed to keep him grounded, and keep the particularly bad thoughts at bay; Shane Hollander. But when the life that him and Shane had finally started to build together now that they were out and living together and playing hockey for the same team is suddenly threatened to be ripped out from underneath Ilya's feet, life doesn't seem worth living anymore. The delicate balance that he had maintained for so long with his mental health completely topples. Canada's arguably most polarising duo in the hockey world are left to face their toughest battle yet. Feeling like they have to retreat back into the shadows once more, and unsure how they can ever fully recover from this latest disaster, Shane and Ilya navigate new and unfamiliar territory that challenges even their bond. This is the story of how Ilya Rozanov finds himself, and his happiness... and how Shane Hollander learns to let go, and trust again when it feels like all hope is lost. WARNINGS/TRIGGERS: Depression, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempt, smut.Kumpleto
