"The Emperor's Silent Moon,"

Zhao Xuan is the ruthless Emperor of the Northern Realm. At thirty-one, he rules with an iron hand, believing that love is a weakness and power is everything. Six years ago, to satisfy a forced marriage, he banished his child-bride to the Cold Palace without a second glance. To him, she was a shadow he had successfully erased.
Yun Xi is that shadow. Now sixteen, she has grown up in the silence of the abandoned pavilions. Innocent, gentle, and pure-hearted, she understands the birds and the flowers better than the cruel world of palace politics. She is the "Quiet Moon" hidden behind thin clouds-ignored by all, feared by many, yet hurting no one.
When a chance encounter in a moonlit garden brings them face-to-face, Zhao Xuan doesn't recognize the girl he discarded. He only sees a mysterious creature who makes his disciplined heart beat for the first time.
Obsessed, he paints her portrait and scours the palace for her, unaware that the girl he is falling for is the very Empress he condemned to a life of loneliness.
When the Ruthless Emperor finally finds his Silent Moon, will he find a wife who loves him... or a girl who has learned to live without him?
