For Chrollo Lucilfer, power and respect wasn't something you earned through hard work or tenacity. It was something you took swiftly and silently, leaving no room for anyone to question or even process the theft before them.

That was who he was, a cold hearted thief who was so desperate for power he'd be willing to center his own nen ability around stealing others.. or was it? After encountering a strangely powerful aura emulating from a painting created by a well known artist, Y/N L/N, he set out to find her, wanting to strip her of her power and add it to his vast collection of abilities. After finally meeting her and learning that she was unaware of her sheer power, he vowed to train her in the ways of nen until her ability was ready to be harvested. However, as he began his plans to train her, a foreign feeling begins to bury itself into his chest.

Was it love? Limerence? His kleptomaniac like tendencies over exciting him? He didn't know, but day after day it grew bigger and nestled deeper into his chest, giving him second thoughts on stealing her new found ability.

At the same time, Y/N was beginning to grow more and more powerful with each training session, motivated solely by wanting the ability to protect herself. Yet, she still didn't know anything about this mysterious Chrollo Lucilfer, someone who she should've know things about, and the romantic feelings that she had begun to develop for him were beginning to be tested by this. She wanted to know more, so she would know more.

What will become of their connection, would their feeling bleed into romance? Would Chrollo steal her ability afterall, or cave in to his complicated feelings and abandon her? What would happen if Y/N learned of Chrollo's gruesome line of work, would she approve?
