"Now time for the news," Jeremy began, "and we have some urgent news to get through straight off."
"Our colleague was late to work today," James announced.
"Over an hour late at that, and we frown upon that here at Top Gear. Richard, what do you have to say for yourself?" I wanted to smack the smirk off of Jeremy's face.
"I stopped to help a stranded motorist."
And so the story begins... she's got the looks, the brains, and most of all the car. Can Richard Hammond break through his awkwardness and land the woman of his dreams?

The pressure grounds him, just a little. He wishes it was stronger. If it was strong enough, it'd help him out of the heavy, cotton-like fog his mind seems to have shoved him into. At least, he thinks it would. "You're a tough little bastard, Ham." The voice cracks a little, like a stuttery record. "You know that, right?" "Want a minute?" Another voice asks softly, from further away. He becomes aware of a weight against his leg. A hand? "I can go, if you want." "No, no, I... I'm okay." It breathes. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late.
