***A lot has happened in the 3 years since I've worked on this piece, and I'm so thrilled that so many of you are still finding it and posting comments. So starting this week, I'm going to try and pump out a few chapters for you all. Xoxo, Hams

"Now time for the news," Jeremy began, "and we have some urgent news to get through straight off."
"Our colleague was late to work today," James announced.
"Over an hour late at that, and we frown upon that here at Top Gear. Richard, what do you have to say for yourself?" I wanted to smack the smirk off of Jeremy's face.
"I stopped to help a stranded motorist."

And so the story begins... she's got the looks, the brains, and most of all the car. Can Richard Hammond break through his awkwardness and land the woman of his dreams?

Disclaimer: I do not own the boys or Top Gear or ANYTHING related to the men we all love, but I do own all the original female characters in this story. Also, I'm not British, so bare with me. Enjoy.

I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

He walks up to me, the girl standing behind him. "Hello Jordan," Gillespie says. He points to the girl. "This little lady here is a new student. I'm gonna have her work with you today, show her the ropes. Behave yourselves." Before I get a chance to protest, Gillespie walks off to check on other people's progress. The girl just stands there, looking at me quizzically. "Um," I say. "Do you have a name?" "Yes," she says, and I'm struck by her accent. I think it's French. "My name is Nicole, Nicole Lavoie." "Interesting. Say, is that a French accent I hear? Are you from Quebec or something?" "Yes, I am, she says. "Montreal, to be exact." "Really? I've always wanted to go there!" "That's awesome. Uh, your name is Jordan, right?" "Yes, yes it is." *** Jordan Devlin is a hockey player, and a good one at that. Although hockey has always been his passion, there is one thing that he hasn't been able to figure out: love. When he suddenly meets a girl he finds incredibly attractive, he is unsure of what to do. What will Jordan do about this girl, now that he finds his life turned upside down? *** "Tell me a bit about yourself. You're the first person here that I've talked to since coming here." "Alright," I say, unsure of what to say next. "I spend a lot of my time playing hockey. That's where I strive to be professionally." "You're a hockey player, huh? Nicole asks excitedly. "What position?" "Centre." "Cool. You do much of anything else?" I shrug. "No. Just a hockey player." "Are you any good?" "How does fifty goals in twenty games sound to you?" Her eyes widen. "That's near impossible, isn't it?" "Apparently not." "That's impressive. Now, let's get to work. The teacher is staring at us." I nod, and we get to work. The whole time, I cannot help but smile stupidly, because Nicole took such an interest in me, and who I am. She seems so full of life, and not one to let it bring her down. I'm beginning to like her already.

Mathan and HelenπŸ’• "Help me make Alastair and Gretchen fall in love." She pleaded sinking into his arms. "That's a dangerous game you're playing lassie." He murmured kissing her hair and making his way down to her neck. "One I know you'll be very good at playing." She smiled up at him. "The things you make me do woman." He groaned blinking his surprise as her fingers found and cupped him. "You can't say I don't make up for it." She smiled as his lips came down on hers. "Are all you English women this cunning?" "No." She shrugged, "I'm an exception." "Indeed you are." When Mathan had been asked suddenly by Alastair to take over his duties for the day as he hastily rode off to Edinburgh on the King's command, he had expected nothing out of the ordinary to happen in the usually peaceful town of Ayrshire but when a red haired Vixen blows into their sleepy town anger directed at his cousin over an arranged marriage they all knew nothing about, he knew he would have his hands full keeping the town together. At least her demure handmaid had brought a little bit of calmness where her mistress raged on like a thunderstorm. What happens when the little woman he deemed calm starts to exhibit a fire that attracted him more than he thought possible? ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ When Helen is told that she and her Lady are to move to the barbaric North, she hoped for the best even though a part of her worried for hers and her Lady's well being. But when they drive at the cozy town of Ayrshire and the only fire she has to deal are that of her mistress and the growing desire she was feeling for the giant Scotsman, she seems Scotland not so bad after all. What happens when a Northern playboy meets a seemingly homely Southern woman? Will love conquer all or will they never be able to meet at the middle?

...We were so caught up in the shared moment of care free joy to notice the midnight grey Toyota pickup truck speeding directly towards us. Meters before impact dad finally caught on to what was about to happen, despite it being day the approaching vehicle's headlights blinded us as our cars breaks slammed on, the sound of the tires melting away as the rubber tires scraped against the pavement filled the air and the scent of burning rubber overwhelmed my nostrils, despite our efforts the brakes didn't slow us down, we were to late. ''Let me help you, ma'am,'' a man who was probably the flight attendant said. Damn. Ryerson Reeds even had handsome flight attendants. The man stooped a bit, leaning close to her and taking the seatbelt from her hands. He was holding eye contact and Lyla felt herself grow amused as she stared back at him. He was going to start buckling her up before someone cleared their throat loudly. They both looked up to meet Reeds' blue-green eyes. ''I think I can help my wife, thank you,'' he said. Lyla's eyebrows shot up. The dude barely talked to her and he was already getting possessive? How does that even add up? Reeds stopped taking the two parts of the seat belt in his hands, ''you couldn't do this without help?'' he muttered to her savagely. Lyla glared at him, before he could even get the belt close to her she took it from his hands and snapped it in the right place. She gave him a sickly sweet smile and Reeds simply scoffed and walked to his seat. The rest of the plane ride was quiet. One would think after that small exchange they would start having some kind of conversation. Wrong. ___________________ This isn't a cliche story where the girl falls for the guy by a simply little gaze. She's stubborn, she's maybe a little relatable, and she's assertive. But she didn't think she was for him. Lyla Vell; the name itself oozed the confidence which was her, and Ryersoon Reeds? Two words to describe him: Arrogant and plain painful. And when these two personalities are in an arranged marriage. Shit about to go down. ___ This is my first Wattpad story. Hope you'll like it! This entire story is NOT mature. Only the last few chapters are and you can still finish the plot without reading those few mature chapters. For those who are hesitant to read the story because it is tagged mature, I'm promising you only the last few chapters are mature, you can read chapters 1-19 without any disturbance of smut. That was for those who're hesitant. Love you. DON'T COPY MY WORK!
