In My Veins

"Say no" I beg him, but the pained expression that shows up on his face unsettles me further. It's as if I've stabbed him right in his heart.

"But you'll die Amaria" he says walking until he closes the distance between us, "I promised you an eternity with me. I Love You and it is because I love you that I have to do this. I can't let him win, if he manages to get his hands on you he'd be ripping my heart out of my chest, I'd be left with nothing." he tells me putting his hands on my cheeks.

We look at each other and I can no longer stop the tears from running down my face, if I let him walk out that door he'll die.

"Please....." I whisper between us, closing my eyes in an attempt to hold it together but it only makes more of my tears fall. He steps closer to me brushing my hair back slightly, then with his thumbs he wipes my tears away.

He presses his forehead to mine and whispers "Te Amo, daría mi vida por ti. Eres mía en esta vida y en las siguientes" (I love you, I'd give my life for you. You are mine in this life and the next). He kisses me stealing my breath away and in the next second he's gone.
