Camila Cabello was the student teachers called on when no one else knew the answer. If there was a hand raised in class, it was hers. If there was a textbook open in the library at midnight, it was hers. She had been waiting for O.W.L. year her entire Hogwarts career and she intended to be extraordinary at it. She was prepared for hard work.

She was prepared for late nights and ink stained fingers and giving up everything that wasn't studying. What she was not prepared for, not even slightly, was a green eyed Slytherin.

This is an AU Camren fanfic set in the Harry Potter universe. All characters belong to themselves and this is purely fictional.
In this version of Hogwarts, students begin their first year at fourteen or fifteen. Students born between January and March are eligible to start a year early: the selection is random, chosen by Hogwarts itself, the letter arriving at the beginning of the summer before their first year. Camila Cabello, born in March, is sharing her fifth year with students a year older than her (Lauren, Ally, Normani, Liam, Harry, and most of the people who matter in this story). There are only few exceptions like Dinah, same age as Camila, still in fourth year.
