Humanity's Unity: The Politiwars

A young man who grew up in the city-state of Haven City named Odhran McGlontick finds himself returning home 8 years after a virus that transforms humans into vicious mutated monsters began to spread across the planet. He returns home to find his town in a middle of a Civil War between political factions known as The Politiwars. The factions are fighting for absolute power within the city's democratic council to turn the town into an iron fist dictatorship under their own rule with their own social, cultural, and economic policies.

Haven City began as a Monarchy, but soon became a democratic liberal society with a council in charge that gives the people power over the council, allowing freedoms such as owning guns, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of expression, and many other rights. With the city under protection of the Haven Guard however, things start to begin being questioned on the circumstances of the city's situation, especially after fighting a harsh battle against the group responsible for the bioterror attacks in 2015, which lead to the outbreak. The city fought back hard against the oppressive force that seeks to form an Empire with Haven City as one of its greatest threats.

The people responsible for the outbreak, known as the Smashers, are said to be using one of the factions that seek a socialist utopia, known as The Leftist Alliance, as part of their agenda to divide Haven City and conquer it.

Odhran must uncover the conspiracy as he joins both sides of the war to uncover the truth. But first, he must locate Dr. Ryan Rolans; a scientist who studies the infected and searches for a cure. He used to be a leftist, but now he focuses his energy to fighting for humanity by searching for a cure to the deadly virus. Odhran has been bitten by many of the infected in the past, but has never become a monster himself, leaving him to believe he's immune.

His blood could be the key to searching for a cure.
