In the first story, mere months after the first Shadows Within Earth, Dracula makes the acquaintance of a powerful God known as Loki.

In the second story, Captain Randy Carter is on his own. Set during the events of Shadows Within Earth Volume Two: Darkness Spreads, Randy Carter is forced to team up with the viscous Henry Dalton when a mysterious Assassin attacks them both and leaves Randy's unit wiped out.

In the third story, Gianna Rossi returns from "The Island Missing on the Map" in Tales from the Shadows Volume One. This time she finds herself working alongside PIA Agent Johnathan Harker. The two must work fast as one of the last groups of Ember Sorcerers has been captured by a Cult Leader with hypnotic powers. Unfortunately for Harker and Rossi, this Cult is not the only foe operating in the area! Like the previous story, this takes place during the middle of Shadows Within Earth Volume Two: Darkness Spreads!
