The past won't last

"He left so suddenly.
No explanation, no goodbye, no warning.
One day we were talking like usual, laughing over small things, planning things we might never even do... then the next day, nothing.

At first I thought maybe he was busy.
Then I started wondering if I did something wrong.
I kept checking my phone like an idiot, hoping his name would pop up again. But days turned into weeks, and silence became the only answer he gave me.

The worst part wasn't even him leaving.
It was how he made me feel so important before disappearing like I meant nothing at all.

You know what hurts the most?
He knew me. He knew my fears, my overthinking, the way I get attached to people I care about. And yet he still chose to leave without a single word.

No closure. No explanation.
Just memories that still randomly hurt at 2 a.m.

Sometimes I still wonder if he misses me too.
But I think someone who truly cared wouldn't leave that way in the first place."
