After being adopted at the age of nine, Arzhel arrives in West Seoul hoping for a quiet reset. But the city doesn't offer clean beginnings - only new connections that quickly turn complicated.

He doesn't go looking for friends. Yet Baek-jin, Hu-min, and later Seong-je somehow become part of his life anyway, pulling him into a world shaped by violence, loyalty, and silent rivalry. Between school hallways, PC bangs, and fights that spill into everyday life, Arzhel learns that bonds form easily in West Seoul... but rarely stay intact.

As time passes, friendships tighten, fractures appear, and loss becomes unavoidable. And through it all, Arzhel remains at the centre - trying to hold onto something stable in a place that refuses to stand still.

Because in West Seoul, even the strongest connections come with a price.
