There are things the body does that nobody teaches you about. The way it decides, entirely on its own, that a particular smell means safety. The way it keeps practising a conversation you haven't had yet. The way it files certain people under home even when home was never quite the right word for it. I think I was trying to figure something out. I'm not entirely sure I did. But I wrote it down anyway, which is either very brave or just something people do when they have too much time and not enough sense.wer you don't think about. Some of it is funny. Some of it is strange. Some of it is about love and loss and faith and the odd grace of things you didn't expect to survive. All of it is true, more or less.

Seven older brothers. One crowded house. They gave him a place to live- but forgot to give him a home. Growing up, his life was perfectly organized on paper, but entirely empty in reality. To his seven older brothers, he was a responsibility to manage rather than a sibling to love. In the chaotic rush of looking after him, they completely missed him, leaving him to grow up isolated and invisible in the middle of a loud family. But you can't ignore a brother forever. When the emotional distance between them finally shatters, seven older brothers are forced to face the truth: they kept him safe, but they completely forgot to raise him. Now, they have to figure out how to stop being just guardians, and finally learn how to be big brothers.
