A commercial flight crashes during the first hours of a global conflict.

The survivors expect rescue.

Instead they find abandoned roads, emergency broadcasts, military checkpoints left empty, and towns that look like people vanished overnight.

Nobody knows what started the war. Nobody knows who is winning. And nobody knows if home still exists anymore.

Dr. Isla Bennett and her husband, air force pilot Mason Bennett, become the centre of a growing group of survivors trying to stay alive as the world around them collapses.
