In the town of Blackthorn Hollow, people do not wander the streets after midnight.

They lock their doors. They close their curtains. And when the distant sound of horse hooves echoes through the fog, they pray the black carriage does not stop at their home.

Because by dawn, someone is always gone.

For years, the townspeople have whispered of the woman who arrives with the carriage-pale as winter, cold as death itself, and never seen twice by the same soul.

Most believe she is only a story.

Until one restless night, a young woman sees the carriage with her own eyes.

And worse-

the woman beside it sees her too.

As strange deaths spread through Blackthorn Hollow and the line between dreams and reality begins to blur, an impossible connection forms between them. But some things were never meant to be touched, never meant to be loved.

Especially not by Death.
