Year: 2100
Location: Border mountains between the United States and Canada
The world of Rulebreaker takes place in a dystopian society ruled by irresponsible and corrupt leadership. Civilization has become divided into isolated factions struggling for power, survival, and control. Ordinary citizens live in fear beneath towering organizations that operate more like governments than communities.
At the center of the conflict are two secretive rival societies:
* The Cryptic Council (TCC)
* The Central Authority (TCA)
Both organizations were established within the snowy mountain borderlands between America and Canada. Though secluded from the outside world, they possess immense military power, advanced technology, and strict social systems.
Their rivalry has lasted for decades.
