'Would you love me if I were a star?'

He asked me while I was busy supplying oxygen to my mother. The world around us was collapsing.
I looked at him.

In that dying environment, calm rested on his face with a hint of sadness that was destroying him inside.
Or maybe outside too.

'Matlab?'

He only smiled.

And now standin beneath that red star, all I feel is helplessness.

'Kaash mai aapko rok paata..'

No guidance.
No shoulder.

'Aap waaha se mujhe dekh paate ho, aur mai iss star ko dekhta rehta hu. Unfair, right?'

Har jeet adhuri lagti hai,
Jab taaliya bajane wala saath na ho.
