After a moment, Harry cleared his throat awkwardly, "I just thought... a breakup shouldn't stop one of us from still going. As to not waste the trip."

Louis pursed his lips, "Right..."

"It costs a lot, Louis."

"Yah, I know that. I'm the one who paid for it." Louis let out a dry laugh, "So if that's what you're so worried about, then I should be the one going."

Harry swallowed, "That trip was a gift for me."

"It was a gift for us, Harry."

That shut the younger one up.

"Well..." Harry stubbornly folded his arms, "I'm still going."

Louis folded his arms as well, "Great, me too."

Harry stared at him.

Louis stared right back.

"...I guess we're both going then." Harry whispered, words leaving his mouth before he fully processed them.

"Fine. Sounds good to me." Louis muttered.

The reality of it hit Harry in that moment, his jaw dropping, "Wait-"

But Louis was already opening the car door again, "See you at the airport, sweetheart." He called back.
