When Josh Hyland enters 12th grade he almost loses all his friends because he doesn't have a girlfriend. In order to be part of his little group, you have to be cool. But don't get me wrong, Josh Hyland is a pretty cool kid, but the problem is he has to have a girl friend. Nearly the girls in his school are crushing on him but he wants to find the perfect girl. When the new girl, Kalani catches his eye, he knew she was the perfect girl. She had a rare beauty that others didn't have. He makes a little deal with her, he would pay for some of her college fund if she would be his fake girl friend that year. Kalani was extremely astute! She was accepted to Yale but couldn't fully pay, so she knew she had to agree with the deal. When other girls start to get jealous, things start to get worse for Kalani.
