It has been one year since the apparent defeat, collapse, and disbandment of the rogue CIA unit known as Operation Gravegust, the movement responsible for systematically eliminating supers around the globe. However, in the aftermath of the heroes' initial bittersweet triumph, the return of the Alliance for Super Enforcement, or ASE, has put them even further on the backburner; anyone attempting to openly engage in any illegal vigilante activity, or even displays any semblance of superpowers, is immediately caught and hauled away to a fate unknown.

As the surviving Paragons and their allies attempt to navigate their new chapter and find a way to return to normal operations, they eventually run into additional difficulties; not only have relentless ASE agents been pinning them down, but mysterious monster attacks of unknown origin in the city of Langley, Virginia have also drawn the heroes' attention. To further complicate matters, Operation Gravegust's former leader, Milo Drogan, plots his return, now more determined than ever to eradicate enhanced beings from the world no matter the cost.

Now, it's up to the valiant heroes to embark on one final mission together to fight off this multi-front attack and save Earth from the grasp of their ultimate enemies......whatever it takes.
