Lana De Angelica has always cared more about dance than anything else. Most of her time is spent at rehearsals, practicing choreography until late at night and trying to balance school, competitions, and everything happening outside the studio.
One night, a speaker malfunction during practice causes chaos in the studio, and things escalate quickly enough that firefighters are called to the scene. The situation forces everyone out, but Lana realizes she left something important behind and goes back inside when she really shouldn't.
That's when she meets Eli Styles.
At first, he's just another firefighter doing his job, calm, sarcastic, and annoyingly hard to ignore. But after that night, Lana keeps running into him in places she doesn't expect, outside her studio, late at night after practice, even during moments she would've rather kept to herself.
And somehow, what starts as random encounters slowly turns into something else.
Because Lana isn't usually the type to get distracted. She's used to focusing on dance, on rehearsals, on the future she's been planning for years. But Eli makes it difficult to stay focused, especially when he starts paying attention to her in ways nobody else really does.
He notices the little things first, the late nights, the attitude, the way she pushes herself too hard, even if he doesn't say much about it at the beginning.
Lana tries not to think too much about him at first. He's older, confusing, and definitely not someone she expected to become part of her life. But the more they see each other, the harder it becomes to ignore the tension building between them.
And somewhere between rehearsals, late-night drives, teasing conversations, and moments neither of them planned, things start getting a lot more complicated than Lana expected.
