Senior year was supposed to be easy. One last year. One tight friend group.

Jules and Tori have been best friends since they were in fifth grade, even though they make zero sense together.

Jules keeps to herself; always in thrifted clothes nobody else could pull off. She hates fake people, avoids attention whenever she can, and would rather have a few close friends then be known by the whole school. Her days normally consist of watching movies, journaling, and spending an absurd amount of money on random things.

Tori is the opposite. Loud. Untouchable. The kind of girl who walks through school like she owns it... because she basically does. She thrives off drama, knows everyone's business before they do, and somehow always has people wrapped around her finger. To everyone else, she's confident. Effortless. The girl everybody wants to be around.

But as senior year goes on, Jules and Tori get closer to their new 'group' and Jules begins to notice a darker side of Tori. The side she has always stayed away from.

The lies. The manipulation. The way Tori destroys people for fun and says it "needs to be done." The way the group laughs at things that aren't funny anymore. And the more Jules pulls away, the more isolated she becomes. Because in their world, choosing yourself means losing everyone else.

Told through two completely different perspectives, this is a story about toxic friendships, insecurity hidden behind popularity, growing apart, and what happens when the people you're closest to might actually be the ones who hate you the most.
