CLASS ZERO

People say the world favors those born powerful.

On Terra-Nova 3A, abilities were everything.

Some could freeze entire cities. Some could bend gravity beneath their feet. Some could create storms, control shadows, or split mountains in half. They were the people society admired. The gifted, the chosen ones.

And then there were the ones left behind. The people whose abilities had weakened through generations.

The Fadeds. Yoon Lisa belonged here.

At least, that was what everyone thought.

With her ability to feel emotions through touch, there wasn't anything special about her. Nothing flashy nor destructive.

Just another scholarship student from Downtown District Seven entering Jaeguk Senior University.

Just another student sent to Class Zero.

The class where society dumped the leftovers.

The strange thing was.. Lisa didn't hate it here. Class Zero was loud. She felt like she belonged here.

Then one ordinary day, the classroom door opened. And the world seemed to stop.

Standing there was Jeon Jungkook, the school's top and strongest student, and beside him, Lee Sungmin, the teleportation prodigy.

The entire class stared with open mouths. Even Lisa blinked.

"...Did they get lost?"

Their adviser looked around casually before speaking.

"Meet your new classmates."

Nobody knew why the strongest student in Hanguk would enter the weakest class.

Far away from laughter and noisy classrooms, an old prophecy slept quietly.

Rain poured from dark skies. Broken buildings burned and bodies covered the ground.

Lisa stood trembling as tears streamed down her face.

Across from her, Jungkook held a sword of blazing starlight.

His hands shook.

"No..." he whispered.

Lisa smiled weakly through tears.

"Fulfill your mission."

Around them, Class Zero stared in horror. Sobbing. All are unable to move.

Jungkook lowered his head.

"It shouldn't have been like this."

Then slowly, he raised his sword.

Closed his eyes.
