Bria's boyfriend always seemed a little...inhuman but never imagined him to actually not be human.

Julius is a member of an alien race called the Egublebuls, a race of hulking men and beautiful women who just want to study and integrate into human society. This is very different from the goal of the alien race of conquest, the Lizgorfs, who want to rule all of humanity and become the supreme race of intergalactic beings. The problem is they forcibly recruit Egublebuls who have zero idea what they're being forced to do, so no one knows who to trust. Not even the Lizgorfs, who are oppressed by their own government, know who they can trust and obey only to protect themselves and their families to survive.

Julius is a fitness instructor and a target for the Lizgorfs. He kept his identity hidden from Bria in the very beginning but slowly trusted her enough to tell her, all while dreading the aftermath. But, to his pleasant and relieved surprise, she accepted him and had already figured it out before he ever told her. He learns she is a small yet strong woman with the wrath of a raging bull if ANYONE hurts her boyfriend.

Julius's cousin, Kyle, is a different story...
