Prologue:
"Hmmm…" As far as Featherkit could tell she was only about a half of a moon old and she was sleeping in Oceanclan's nursery. She knew she desperately needed sleep, but from the all the ruckus that Beaverkit and Rootkit were making, she had to squeeze her eyes shut and will sleep to come to make any progress. After a while she gave up and slowly opened one of her eyes to see her mother, Acornflight's huge body laying next to her, snoring softly. Featherkit sighed and sat up straight. She was so tiny, that she had to fluff out her fur, just to look like a runt of a litter. Now that she thought about it, she really was the runt of a litter, even though she only had a brother. Speaking of Hawkkit, he stirred on the other side of Featherkit, causing her to fall on top of Acornflight. 'Oh no,' she thought, 'Acornflight isn't going to be happy about the fact that I woke her up in the middle of her beauty sleep.'

The prophecy was looming dangerously over them, its horrifying fate approaching quicker than anyone would've liked. As the three siblings navigate through obstacle after obstacle, they're caught in events they should've stayed out of, learned secrets that should've stayed buried, played pawns in a bigger game. With all the complications and hardships, the final question comes down to this: how loyal are you to your kin and Clan? Blessedkit, born to ShadowClan parents, discovers quickly that he is quite "special" in the eyes of his Clanmates. His brother, Rottenkit, is presumably a filthy-hearted cat who would have become a murderer if he had been allowed to be, and therefore was murdered in the womb by StarClan. And now, Blessedkit's become the unwilling celebrity of not just ShadowClan, but all four Clans. As time progresses and Blessedkit is driven further to madness by the constant unwarranted praise of his Clanmates, it's eventually clear that StarClan made the wrong choice.Complete
