Fifteen year old Jessica Thomas is kind and loyal and she doesn't think she's the prettiest of all the girls by long shot. She ends up falling for the schools new hottie and secretly rich James green. Things aren't great at home right now and jess wants help. James turns out to not be a bad listener and his life is pretty screwed up too even though it doesn't seem like that. She realises that she is actually in love with James and it's no little crush no more.
