Dreams Come True

Kyle's life feels like a loop: wake up exhausted, survive school, disappoint everyone, sleep, repeat. But after falling asleep in history class, he wakes up somewhere almost familiar.

The halls of his school are now filled with monsters. Teachers become ogresses and vampires. Friends transform into ghosts, moths, werewolves, and creatures stranger than imagination should allow. Somehow, despite everything being horrifyingly different, it all still feels painfully the same.

As Kyle drifts between reality and this surreal reflection of it, he begins to realize the monsters around him may not be monsters at all. They are fears, identities, emotions, and the hidden truths people carry beneath the surface. And somewhere between exhaustion, loneliness, gender dysphoria, and the desperate need to escape, Kyle has to decide whether he wants to keep surviving his life, or finally understand it.

A surreal coming-of-age story about identity, mental illness, friendship, and learning how to exist in a world that already feels unreal.
